I created a physical response to the ear cuff, through choreographed movement and gestures. I wanted to play with anonymity for both the performer and the object, building the viewers curiosity through revealing less about the product than traditional advertising and lookbook imagery. Working with no hierarchy between the product and the performer, the movement further reflects this contrast, shifting between obvious and recognisable human behaviours and gestures, and more ambiguous, time altered, fluid movement. I chose to record my response on photo booth as this is how I capture and reflect on choreographic work during development. It made sense to then present it in this form to further underline that my response is a collection of choreographed movements, as opposed to a film.
